AI Governance Lead¶
Policy on paper doesn't stop anything. The AI Governance Lead is the person who turns AI policy into a running practice — risk-tiering use cases, gating deployment, reviewing for fairness and ethical use, and tracking regulatory change. This bundle is the operator's manual for that seat, wherever it currently sits in your org chart.
It's one entry in AI Accountability's role-by-role map — distinct from AI Risk Officer (model accuracy) and Chief AI Officer (the strategic bet): this seat owns whether using AI is allowed, not whether a model is right or worth building.
