Validation¶
A lighter process does not mean a lighter factual standard. What these notes hold loosely is their conclusions, never their facts.
What is checked, on every note:
- Every number traces to a primary source in this bundle's evidence ledger, enforced automatically before a note can ship.
- Every stated fact is verified against that primary source, not against recall.
- A citation audit runs on any note that cites anything, checking for misquotes, misattributions, and figures that do not add up.
What is deliberately not run: the adversarial review panel that argues finished bundles into shape. That check asks whether a bundle's conclusions hold together well enough to be relied on — which is the wrong question for a page whose whole premise is that its conclusion is not settled yet. It runs when a note graduates into a real bundle.
Where uncertainty shows up: in the notes themselves, named rather than hidden. A note that cannot substantiate something says so and states what would settle it.
Dated audits land in audits/ as they are run.
