Research Briefs¶
New AI research lands every day, and almost none of it is written for you. The papers are dense, the claims are easy to overstate, and you don't have an afternoon to spend decoding one. This bundle does that part for you.
Each page here is a brief of a single research paper, written for someone who won't read the original. You get what the paper found, an honest read on how much to trust it, and the part that matters most: what you'd do differently because of it.
We don't try to cover everything. We pick papers that are getting real attention and matter to people putting AI to work, then write the brief so you can decide in a few minutes whether the full paper is worth your time.
How it's organized¶
Briefs are grouped by theme. A theme appears once it has its first brief, so the list grows as we go:
- Agents and Tool Use — AI that takes multi-step action and uses tools.
- Reasoning and Capabilities — what models can and can't reliably do, and how they reason.
More themes open up as briefs land. How These Briefs Work lists the full set we're working toward.
New to the bundle? Start with How These Briefs Work — it shows what's in every brief and how to read the "how much to trust it" section.
