Glossary

Plain-language definitions of the terms these notes use. It grows as the notes do.

Research note. A page recording the current understanding of an open question. Its findings are sourced and verified; its conclusion is provisional and expected to change.

Graduated. A note whose question has settled, rewritten as a full page in the bundle where it belongs. What stays here is a pointer.

Superseded. A note whose conclusion turned out to be wrong, kept in place and marked, with a link to what replaced it.

Open question. A question a note names and deliberately does not answer, because the evidence to answer it does not exist yet or was not found. The most useful part of most notes.
